John Pacini currently serves as CEO and co-creator at Mom Media, an industry-leading company in influencer marketing and branding. The company helped pioneer women’s and men’s influencer marketing since 2008, and is home to the nation’s largest and farthest-reaching digital network of parenting influencers. They are the creators of the Mom 2.0 and Dad 2.0 communities, the year-round networks of top parenting influencers with an audience that exceeds 250 million unique fans, followers, readers and viewers.

The business produces a host of digital and experiential media, as well as large national and regional events and conferences throughout the year. These include the Mom 2.0 Summit, Dad 2.0 Summit, and Iris Awards, as well as pop-up events across the nation including The BE Conference at SxSW in partnership with LinkedIn, and many others. The company has created many memorable and award-winning campaigns for brands like P&G, Unilever and Kimberly-Clark. John has personally helped companies like Kia Motors, Fandango and Best Buy launch and grow their new media strategies, and helped celebrities like Kristin Bell and Dax Shepard launch their new business ventures.

Under John’s executive tenure Mom Media has grown by over 400%, built a roster of top brand clients such as Best Buy, Amazon, Facebook, Unilever, Google, Kia Motors, and many more, and established high level partnerships with major media organizations like NBC, CNN, Hearst, Meredith and Warner Bros.

John is also a regular commentator for TV, print and digital news. His work and perspectives have been prominently featured in some of the nation’s most prestigious outlets, including CNN, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Fox TV, TIME magazine, AdWeek and many more.

Prior to Mom Media, John co-founded a digital network built around large-scale strategic acquisitions during the2008-2010 timeframe, that achieved over 50 million pageviews a day. John also served as COO and co-founder of one of the earliest social marketing companies, TriTaur (creator of Operation Mom), in the mid 2000s, where he worked directly with companies like Sony Pictures and Zappos founder Tony Hsieh to help create some of the industry’s earliest influencer marketing programs and pioneering some of the earliest family social marketing efforts.

Prior to that, John was a marketing and branding leader in the financial services industry. His marketing organization was acquired by John Hancock and John became the youngest Managing Director in Hancock’s 140-year corporate history.

John has also served as a board member with numerous non-profit organizations, as faculty for startup incubators, and as an active seed-stage investor and mentor. He has been an equity investor as well, focusing on innovations across categories from radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to patent-pending fitness equipment, and from internet media marketing to FinTech.

John earned his master’s degree from New York University and bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin. John also completed extensive postgraduate financial education at Rice University while working in that industry, and still retains the Certified Financial Planner certification to this day. He currently resides in the Houston, Texas area with his wife and children.
